Castillo de Santa Barbara - Santa Barbara´s Castle
One of the largest, medieval-style fortresses in Spain in terms of area. The castle can be reached by car by taking Alfonso X el Sabio avenue at the back of the castle, by lifts that are dug into the rock or by a 205 metre tunnel that starts behind the Postiguet Beach in the Avenida de Jovellanos. Open everyday. Entrance is free.Una de las fortalezas medievales más grandes de España en cuanto a extension. Se puede llegar al castillo en coche desde la avenida Alfonso X el Sabio detrás del castillo, por unos ascensores excavados en la roca o mediante un tunel de 205 metros que empieza detrás de la playa del postiguet en la Avenida de Jovellanos. Man kann die Burg entweder per Auto oder mit einem speziellen Aufzug durch einen 205 meter langen tunnel gelangen. Der Aufzug hat Zugang über den Strand Postiguet. Täglich geöffnet. Eintritt frei.
