Fire
When I was in the fifth grade my house burnt down while I was at school. We were all lucky no one was home because the firemen said that if anyone had been home the would have been killed because the house collapsed before they could even see flames. My mom told me I was sick that day and that's the only thing I don't remember. She said she had tried her very best to get me to stay home but I wouldn't which is really odd because I hardly ever want to go to school. She thinks it was a miracle I didn't stay I think I was just being dumb even though it did save my life. Never in a million years would I have thought wanting to go to school would save my life. I still really don't believe it.
