I have never been a big fan of “about us” pages. I am guessing this must be well over my 100th creation of a highly informative about us paragraph.This one feels a little different. This one is about a company that I feel very strongly about. I love what they do. I care about their families, and their general quality of life.here is how we put it together.From 2001-2006 I worked for 2 printers and a computer shop that wanted to design websites. I made more in knowledge than I did in cash. Way more. I always new I could do it better than they did. I knew I could communicate better with clients, I knew they communicated better with me. I could easily relate to the people I talked to. I spent all day at work telling myself what I would do differently. I was haunted by the idea everyday, I just didn’t have the guts to do it. The wife, the kids, the house, I just had to much to lose and too many people would be effected if I failed.In March of 2006, after a glowing yearly performance review I was terminated from my job at a local print shop. You can only make someone look foolish so many times before they fire you. Write that down.Best thing that ever happen to me. The leash was cut, and I started to hunt. I started Graydian officially on April 1st, 2006. Yea, April Fools Day. 2 month later I brought in Rod Miller, a guy that just knew enough (he knows it all now) about everything, to start a company around. You ask any client we work with, this guys is scary smart.From that point on we never looked back, and everyday we work hard and long hours. We landed just about every client we sat down with. They liked our energy, and they loved our attitude. Here we are, we have fun, we never settle, and I feel we are at a point that anything is possible. You dream it, We build it. It’s that simple.
