Kitty's Cottage (Oxford, GA)
Slave quarters, occupied in the 1840s-50s by Miss Kitty, an enslaved woman owned by Bishop James O. Andrew of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. The cottage, originally located up the hill on the Andrew estate, was moved in 1939 to Salem Campground and then moved again to its current location in 1994. In June 2007 an African naming ceremony was held in memory of Miss Kitty.
