Every successful clothing company starts, literally, with a common family ‘fabric’. The thread that started our success in big and tall stores started with Max Hirsh and Jenny Grover on October 4th, 1925, nearly 7 years after World War I and the brief Prohibition period was finally over. Catering to the harder to fit man, we’ve now been deeply rooted within the Verdun community for 88 years, and growing.We’ve never moved from our Verdun territory, although we’ve been at our current store located at 4741 Rue Wellington since 1945. Our nearly nine decades have been solely dedicated to dressing the harder to fit tall, or large, man. As technology evolves and the needs of larger men grow, we’ll continually refine our offerings as we have over the years.We’ve distinguished ourselves from comparable big and tall stores by offering name brand lines, friendly and knowledgeable customer support staff, and the ability to fit anyone with our clothing. Over the years, we’ve introduced Fila, Haggar, Russell and fine men’s jeans from Levis and Black Bull as well.
