newport, or
Newport is a beautiful place in Oregon state. It has beautiful places to see in the the city. I went for a trip to newport for few days in the month of april. I went there by car. The whether was very romantic when I reached there by my car. I had searched the hotels in newport and got a hotel which was very affordable and was offering great discount rates. After reaching to the hotel I checked into the hotel and then rested for some time. After that I got ready for the visit of the city. Firstly I visited Oregon Coast Aquarium. Keiko the killer whale is gone, but there is still a lot to see here. Aquariums house all kinds of aquatic life, from sharks to sea lions, and there are usually temporary exhibits as well. Located on the Pacific coast about two hours from Portland, the aquarium is an underwater zoo. A visit involves a lot of walking, but wheelchairs can be rented. Then I moved to next place Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. This is Newport's oldest building, this lighthouse now features a historical museum and gift shop and is open daily for self guided tours. Private guided tours are also available. This was all for that day then I returned back to my hotel. Their I had my dinner and I went for the sleep. Next morning was very fresh and full of energy. I had my breakfast and went out for visiting some of the attractions of the city. Firstly I went to Newport TradewindsEstablished in 1949, this charter fishing company is the oldest established charter service on Newport's Bayfront and offers bottom fishing excursion for salmon, halibut, tuna, and ocean crabbing. There I caught some of the small fishes. I haven’t done this before so many times. Only a few times I caught the fishes. Then I moved to my next place named marine discovery tours. Sea life cruises full of fun and adventure. Deluxe boats, friendly naturalists, and fun activities are included. You can look for sea life, pull crab pots and drive with the captain. The last place left for visiting was Port of Newport. Incorporated in 1910, this port offers shipping terminal facilities, commercial and sport boat moorages, and boulevard waterfront facilities that includes a 220 foot fixed service dock, 200 feet of floating docks, over 450 commercial fishing vessels, and 350 feet of waterfront property. That was all for the day and then I returned back to my hotel. The next morning I returned back to my home.
