Piramide Cocina Latina
Address: 499 5th AvenueCity, State, Zip Code Brooklyn, NY 11215Phone: (718) 499-0002Hours of Operation: Tuesday - Thursday: 12:30 pm - 10:00 pm,Friday 12:30 pm - 11:00 pm,Saturday 12:00 pm - 11:00 pm,Sunday: 12:00 pm - 10:00 pmLocated in Park Slope, Brooklyn, Piramide Cocina Latina is a neighborhood favorite, serving a delicious array of innovative and authentic Latin-inspired food and cocktails made from local, seasonal ingredients since 2007. Family owned and operated, Piramide uses only the freshest, and best quality ingredients to prepare their food. They are a local business who believes in supporting the local community and economy, utilizing vendors that make good, whole food and support sustainable procurement and farming practices. Everything that is produced in their kitchen honors their family values of preparing innovative and authentic Latin-inspired dishes made daily from scratch. The menu is created to offer something for everyone, from an intimate dining experience with several items served up to share with companions, as well as something for little ones. In an effort to return to classic Latin cooking techniques made with seasonal ingredients, they have discovered ways to deliver traditional offerings that seem modern and new. The restaurant promotes a sense of community and actively supports the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket. They steer clear of pre-packaged products and take pride in using minimally process and locally sourced products. The juice in their specialty cocktails is made fresh with real fruit. They buy their authentic Oaxaca cheese and queso fresco from Quesos Mexico on Ft. Hamilton Parkway, and purchase all natural beef products from La Frieda Meat Purveyors. They have Tortillas Nixtamal delivered daily and buy their bread from Baked In Brooklyn. It takes longer, creates more work and costs a bit more but this is their kitchen, and that is what Piramide does for their family, and for you. Come con gusto!
