Ok, what’s it all about? Property for sale in Cuba? I bet your thinking that this is some sort of wishful thinking, that you can’t buy or sell property in Cuba? Well, up until November 2012 you couldn’t buy or sell property anywhere in Cuba but thanks to Raul Castro, brother of the eternal Fidel Castro, you can, to a certain point, but there are restrictions still, as you might well expect from a state like Cuba. Only Cuban citizens and permanent Cuba residents can legally purchase Cuba property but thanks to the friends and families of Cubans in exile, they are managing to bump the prices of what properties are available and the prices are soaring and it is costing more than 10 times the average monthly wage per square meter. People are selling their houses for a real killing and buying two with the proceeds, all legal, all above board and this is creating a real housing market boom.
