<p>Where the Glosas Emilianenses glosses were written in a Latin codex. They were written a thousand years ago in three languages: Latin, Hispanic Romance (Old Spanish or Aragonese) and Basque.</p><p>These are the earliest known codex with inscriptions in Basque and Spanish.</p>
