Summer Vacations Of Children In Ashland

Ashland is known as a home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, one of the largest and oldest regional theatres in the country. Ashland is a small city in southern oregan. It is about 15 miles from the California. City is best known for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland Independent Film Festival, held each year in April. Lithia park follows Ashland Creek through undeveloped woodlands, and also includes a Japanese garden, two duck ponds, a formal rose garden, groves of sycamore trees and a number of secluded spots. In Ashland there are many <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.anylodging.com/us/">cheap hotels</a> which I find in net while searching. I booked hotel holiday inn online for three days.In last summer vacctions of my children I planned to visit Ashland by own car with driver I reached Ashland. The traffic in Ashland is very smooth. It took about 6 hours to reach there. I saw on the way many<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.anylodging.com/us/or/ashland-hotels"> ashland hotels</a>. They were looking nice and attractive from the outside and well decorated. Two days earlier I had booked <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.anylodging.com/us/or/ashland-hotels">holiday inn ashland</a>. We reached in the hotel and ask for the room key. Hotel servant picked my luggage to my room. On the next day we all went to Lithia Park. While the young children and teens may not enjoy the Shakespeare Festival that Ashland is famous for, there is still much to be enjoyed for your family travel needs.  The biggest attraction is the Lithia Park where we enjoy hours of relaxation and beauty in this scenic city park.  The children will enjoy the playground equipment here and feeding the ducks, geese and swans that are swimming in the small pond. There is the Ashland Bakery & Cafe for a slice of pizza and yummy desserts and the Ashland Fudge Co. is bound to have something my child and family will enjoy.  We like the M&M bark here and the chocolate-covered turtles.  The book shop down a few doors from the fudge store is strictly a bookstore specializing in children’s books. The Ashland Plaza Inn & Suites is a nice lodging place for your family needs.  This spacious hotel has an outdoor jacuzzi, gorgeous grounds that run along the creek.  Adjacent to the hotel is the restaurant Beasey’s on the Creek that offers many fine selections for children It also offers the finest entertainment to be found in the state of Oregon.I made my reservation in advance because it was a busy months. I had attended the Green Show which is about an hour of free entertainment before the plays actually begin. It was held in the small pavilion area adjacent to the gift shop. For knowing which play they act I visit OSP play reviews to read reviews of all current plays. There are many fine hotels and restaurants available for your lodging needs while in Ashland for the plays.  The Plaza Inns & Suites and the Ashland Springs Hotel are a couple of my personal favorite places for lodging.  Children was very happy to visit there they thanks me for his lovely vacations.
