The Hat Shop combines the best features of a department store (wide selection) with those of a milliner's atelier (custom selection). Customers may choose from Chapeau Chateau - their very own in-house line of perennial favorites - in addition to the work of approximately 30 New York milliners. Their staff provides personal attention and is sensitive to the concerns of both the first-time hat buyer and the self-confessed 'hat addict'. The hats can be ordered in a variety of colors, trim, and more importantly, each customer is ensured the proper fit. They pride themselves on finding the appropriate hat style for each facial type, lifestyle, and occasion. The collection falls into three basic categories: function, finishing, and flaunting: The functional hat provides sun protection in the summer and warmth in the winter. The finishing hat combines form and function to build, enhance, & finish an outfit The flaunting hat is not for the faint hearted but rather for the frivolous femme fatale.
