A Torre de Xunqueiras, no concello da Pobra do Caramiñal, protexíase no medio dun labiríntico pantano. Trala destrución do castelo de Palmeira, as tropas irmandiñas atacaron as Xunqueiras, pero o castelo non puido ser rendido. Atópase nun excelente estado
